Visegrad Grants – the Third Call Is Now OPEN!

The International Visegrad Fund has opened its third call for proposals for its grant programmes this year. Visegrad grants finance projects implemented through regional cooperation that address common challenges in the Visegrad Group region and across Central and Eastern Europe.

Applications for the current call can be submitted until 12:00 noon on 1 October 2025, via the My Visegrad electronic application system. Three types of grants are available in the current call:

  • Visegrad Grants: A project must develop meaningful cooperation and active participation of organisations from at least 3 V4 countries and it must address at least one of the objectives of the grant programme´s seven focus areas. The project must address at least one of the objectives of the grant program´s seven focus areas. Maximum duration of the project implementation is 18 months.
  • Visegrad+ Grants: As a rule, the format is 3xV4 + 1xEaP/WB, i.e. a project must develop meaningful cooperation and ensure the active involvement of at least 3 V4 countries and 1 entity from the Eastern Partnership region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) or the Western Balkans countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia) at minimum (3xV4 + 1xEaP/WB format). The project must clearly address at least one of the objectives of the grant programme´s seven focus areas. Maximum duration of the project implementation is 18 months.
  • Strategic Grants: A project should involve cooperation between four V4 countries and address one of the Visegrad Group's annual strategic priorities. Maximum duration of the project is 36 months, minimum is 12 months.
