UniLodz Researchers at the 21st World Congress of the International Union of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences in Poznań

The 21st Congrès Mondial de l'Union Internationale des Sciences Préhistoriques et Protohistoriques (UISPP), attended by researchers from the University of Lodz Faculty of Philosophy and History, took place on 2–4 September 2026 in Poznań.

On 2–4 September 2026, the Faculty of Archaeology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań hosted the 21st World Congress of the International Union of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences. The researchers from the Institute of Archaeology represented the University of Lodz delivering three presentations:

    Archaeological and Exhumatory Methods in Investigating the Graves of Katyn Massacre Victims

The presented papers discussed the results of research conducted within two projects in the field of the archaeology of modern armed conflicts, carried out at the Faculty of Philosophy and History of the University of Lodz:
