Importantly, the app will not only show you where to quickly and safely use a public toilet in the centre of Lodz, but will also take into account the needs of senior citizens and people with limited mobility – this is another step towards a more accessible "Friendly City", which Lodz is becoming thanks to the app.
Work on the introduction of the new feature into the app began in July and is expected to be completed this fall!
Dr hab. Aneta Pawłowska, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz from the Faculty of Philosophy and History is the manager of the "Friendly City" project. The app is available in four language versions: Polish, English, Ukrainian and Spanish, and is completely free to download for both Android (Google Play) and iOS (AppStore) devices. (AppStore).
