Researchers at any stage of their career may apply for funding. The call is open to all disciplines, allowing the submission of projects from across the entire spectrum of science, provided they fall within the scope of basic research.
Project duration may be 24, 36, or 48 months. The budget may include funding for research team salaries, scholarships for students or doctoral students, the purchase or construction of research equipment, as well as other costs necessary for carrying out the Polish part of the project. There is no specified maximum budget per project; however, all planned expenditures must be fully justified.
Schedule of the Call
- Submission of a joint proposal by the Polish and Spanish research teams through the AEI electronic submission system: 24 November 2026
- Submission of the national proposal by the Polish research team through the OSF system: at the earliest possible date following the submission of the joint proposal to AEI, and no later than 7 calendar days thereafter
- Announcement of the call results: November 2027
- Start of research project implementation: January 2028
