In the first episode, we discuss a very important and current topic of Polish–Ukrainian relations. Our nations have been intertwined with a common history for centuries. Throughout history, we have had moments of glory, but we also have had many difficult moments in our mutual relationships. In the film that opens the entire project, we present the fate of Poland and Ukraine from the 19th century to the present day.
Our experts include historians: Dr Marcin Szymański and Prof. Przemysław Waingertner, who systematise knowledge about our relationships in the most concise, but at the same time factual and detailed way. They present lesser-known facts and figures that we should know to understand the points of view on both sides of the border.
Development of the YouTube channel "Science Inspires"
In the next episodes, we will learn, among other things, how celestial bodies, which are billions of light years away from Earth, are "observed" in space. We will present conclusions from research on the relationship between people and artificial intelligence. We will talk about the informal green spaces that surround us in cities – not only trimmed lawns and well-kept parks are important for our well-being. The channel will also feature videos about fascinating discoveries made by biologists in inaccessible areas of Venezuela or at the bottom of the ocean off the coast of Africa, and that's just the beginning!

Our activities include not only video productions, but also popular science texts showing research processes and their results, but also presenting the tedious, challenging and unsuccessful nature of scientific work. "Science Inspires" is also about the profiles of scientists from the University of Lodz, which focuses on the motivations for choosing the profession of a scientist and the impact of research work on the environment.
Our goal is to stimulate curiosity and interest in science, as well as to emphasize its importance for society and the development of civilisation.
